Veterans Day Program ~ Wednesday, November 11
St. Charles students will be honoring our veterans with a short program in the gym on Wednesday, November 11, at 9:15 AM. If you or a member of your family were part of the Armed Forces, we invite you to attend. Veterans are welcome to come in uniform if desired. Please park in the lower-level parking lot and enter through door 3. If you have a family member(s) who is a veteran and you would like to honor them by placing their name on the “Wall of Honor,” which will be posted in the hallway for our Veteran’s Day Celebration, please email Mrs Seashore. We are excited to honor all those who have bravely served our country!
Explore Preschool & Kindergarten Event ~ Friday, November 13, 8:00-9:00 AM ~ Spread the Word!
Come explore where learning begins with love! Families with children ages 3 to 5 are invited to enjoy muffins and juice with our Preschool and Kindergarten teachers, visit our classrooms, and complete a scavenger hunt together. You’ll also learn about enrollment, tuition, and PreK tuition assistance for the 2027-28 school year. Registration is free; siblings are welcome.
A New Event at St. Charles ~ St. Nick’s Winter Carnival ~Join the Fun and Help Make It Happen!!
Mark your calendar for our very first St. Nick’s Winter Carnival, Sunday, December 6, from 11 AM to 3 PM! Bring the whole family for professional photos with St. Nicholas, Advent family crates to pick up, an obstacle course, carnival games, pizza, cocoa and cookies, ornament and face painting, and a student talent contest. Admission is free, but please register in advance so we can plan how much food to have on hand.
We also need volunteers to make the day a success. It’s a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit, give back to our community, and have some fun! Students in middle school and high school can earn service hours too!
We’re hoping this will be the first of many years of this special event, so let’s make year one AMAZING! Thank you for your support!
STUDENT TALENT CONTEST: Students are invited to audition to perform their singing, dancing, music, comedy, magic, or any other talent for cash prizes: 1st ($100), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($25). To audition, sign up here and email a short video of your act (3 minutes or less) to chargers@stchbs.org by Friday, November 20. Selected performers will be notified by email on Tuesday, November 24, and must attend a mandatory rehearsal at school on Friday, December 4 at 3:00 PM before performing in the cafeteria on Sunday, December 6 at 2:00 PM.
