Transportation Information

Arrival and dismissal of students by car:

Arrival: Please begin dropping students off at 7:30 AM. The first bell is 7:40, and the tardy bell is 7:45. As we work out how long it takes to admit all of our students, we will adjust the tardy bell.

Dismissal: Please begin arriving at 2:30 for dismissal. We will begin releasing students at 2:40 and believe the process will be complete by 3:00. Walkers will be dismissed at 2:40.

Busing information

St. Charles School uses cooperative busing with St. Anthony Village High School for our K-8 students. Transportation is free for families with children who are picked up and dropped off within the St. Anthony-New Brighton school district boundaries. For families with children outside the boundaries there is a $150 per student fee to ride the bus for the school year. This fee is subject to change for the following school year and will be updated upon notification from the district.

All students wanting bus service must apply using the Bus Transportation Application. See links below for all bus information:

*Busing update for 2020-21 school year: The 282 district is able to offer two routes in the morning at 7:20 AM and afternoon at 2:50 PM for our in-district students on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. There will not be buses on Wednesdays since the district students will also not receive transportation that day. Our out-of-district students will be allowed to ride; however, they will need to be assigned to the closest existing stop that is in-district. It is important to remember that if 282 does decide to go full distance learning at any point, transportation will no longer be provided. For questions regarding bus transportation and district location, please contact our main office.
