Dear St. Charles Parents,

Every school year includes a period of transition in the beginning. Students are adjusting to being in school for 7 hours each day. Staff members are adjusting to having students back in their classrooms, their voices are adjusting to working a lot more, and there is a steep increase in the amount of routine each day has. I want to assure you that things are going well in the building, and we are finding our rhythm by working together.

September 24th is an evening that I would like to see each and every one of you parents. Our Parent Information Night is an important night for parents and teachers to connect, for parents and me to connect! I’ll update you on a number of things going on at St. Charles this year. You will walk away with a better sense of how we are fulfilling our mission. Please see the link below about Parent Information Night so that you know what time to show up, and how long the evening will go for you. It is not the same for every parent, so please read the document carefully.

I’m sure you know that the St. Charles Marathon is coming up on October 3rd. I just wanted to reference the email that went out earlier today with important information in it. Tomorrow is the first Friday prize drawing so please begin sending in Marathon money! Our goal is to raise $60,000 for our school; each student has a goal of $200 in sponsorship; all of the money we fundraise for Marathon goes toward offsetting the cost of tuition so we can keep tuition manageable for you, the parents.

Marathon 2026 is Off and Running!

Marathon donations have started rolling in! Go, Chargers, go! Please see the link below for details about service projects, how students can reach their goal, how they can turn in their donations, how to donate online, where to sign up to volunteer on the day of the Marathon, where to turn in prayer intentions, and more. The Marathon is one of the most important school fundraising events of the year, and 100% of donations support our school’s operating budget and student programs. We are excited to do our first ever prize drawing for Service Project of the Week! We cannot wait to see who it is! We are so happy to see what impact our students are making in the community by serving others.

School Year Reminders

  • Please send a note to school if there is a change in your child’s end-of-the-day routine. If changes need to be communicated after the day begins, please be sure to include the office in any email communications (stchbs@stchbs.org) because teachers may not have a chance to check email during the day. If you are letting us know after 1:30 PM, please be sure to call the school office at 612-781-2643 to be sure we get the message.
  • Please remember that there is NO PARKING on Stinson Boulevard in front of the school area so that all the buses will have plenty of space to pick up and drop off students.
  • For the safety of all our students, please use the pick-up line after school to pick up your children.
  • All children waiting for rides after 3:00 PM will be sent to St. Charles After School Care.
