Dear St. Charles Parents!
This is Borromeo Bash week, and there’s excitement in the air. Many of you are volunteering, attending, helping run the show, and maybe all three! If you’re not able to do one of these things, please consider a donation to our school to support our efforts. You can make one at this link! Bash Donation. Our 2nd graders received their First Communion last weekend, and the 8th graders will be confirmed at the Cathedral this weekend. It’s like a sacramental sandwich week. Please keep our 8th graders and 2nd graders in your prayers as they glory in Jesus’ graces through these sacraments, which are sacred milestones on the path of faith for us Catholics.
Friday, May 1st, is May Crowning at Mass and the Volunteer Appreciation Reception in the school cafeteria. If you have volunteered in the classroom, as a chaperone, a coach, a Lit Circle leader, at the Marathon, at the concession stand, at the Bash, or in any other of the countless ways our parents provide support, please join us for Mass and some pastries as a small token of our appreciation! At a Catholic school, volunteers fill a vital role of the mission for our children.
This is just a quick message today because I’ll see you at the Bash! Please watch for a more specific update about staffing and the future coming soon.

The Borromeo Bash is This Weekend, Don’t Miss It!
The Bash will be held at the Hollywood Theater this Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM for Happy Hour, followed by an unforgettable evening featuring 100+ silent auction items, specialty drinks, appetizers, a plated dinner, a dessert dash, Mardi Gras-style games, and more. All proceeds support our school.
Spots are now open for grade-level parties and adult parties — these popular events fill quickly, so be sure to reserve yours today at stchbs2026.ggo.bid. You may also purchase spots for your child or another student.
Can’t attend? You can still participate by bidding in the silent auction from your phone: Silent Auction. All auction and party sales close at 7:30 PM on April 25. Winners will be notified promptly.

The Meal Train Ministry
Would you like to help provide meals for a person or family in their time of need? OR do you or someone you know have a short-term need (due to a birth, surgery, illness, etc.) for meals to be delivered to your home? Contact Joan if you are interested in this ministry.

- For the repose of the soul of Joan Nelson, aunt to faculty member Michael Hartnett, and great aunt to students Bella, Liliana, Mia, and Amelia, and sister to former staff member Cindy Hartnett, and for the comfort of the family.
- For medical guidance and prayers for healing from cancer for Tony K., nephew of staff member Glenn K.
- For the brother of students Brynn and Aiden who is serving in the Air Force and currently in the Middle East during the US Israel conflict with Iran. Please, dear Lord, bring him home safely to his wife, daughter, parents, family, and friends.
- For a complete healing for our beloved former teacher, Anne Flynn, who is battling cancer once again, and for guidance and strength for her family.
- For medical guidance and prayers for healing for Mrs. Flynn’s husband, who has also been diagnosed with cancer.
