Dear St. Charles Parents!
What an amazing time at St. Charles Borromeo! We’ve been nourished spiritually and physically through the Parish Mission over the last few days. Basketball season has just come to an end. Congratulations to all our teams for a great season! The whirlwind season of floor hockey is winding down with the student-faculty championship game taking place tomorrow at 1:45 PM in the gym. The Borromeo Bash Floor Hockey Raffle ends tomorrow. Tomorrow morning is the deadline for sending in an order form for more raffle tickets. We have much to be grateful for.
Spring break begins after school tomorrow. Students will return to school on TUESDAY, March 24. My staff returns a day earlier to prepare for our upcoming accreditation and to prepare for parent teacher conferences that are happening on March 24 and 26. If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please be sure to do so. Information is below.
On behalf of all the staff at St. Charles School, I wish you a very blessed spring break.

Easter Food Drive ~ Ends Tomorrow!
Once again, the school and parish are teaming up through a partnership with the Salvation Army to help supply Easter meals for families in need in Northeast Minneapolis. Borromeo Bash
We are looking for volunteers for the Bash! You do not have to attend the entire Bash to volunteer. Please see the slots available in the Sign Up Genius. Registration volunteers are needed first and foremost!
We are also currently seeking donations and sponsorships for the Bash. Popular items include
- Sports, concert, or event tickets
- Experiences such as cabin stays, vacation rentals, fishing or hunting charters, flight vouchers, or other local adventures
- Gift cards (restaurants, shopping, entertainment, services)
- Wine, beer, or spirits
- Toys, arts & crafts, jewelry, handbags, and other unique or fun items
- Family-friendly packages (museum, zoo, or attraction passes)
- Wellness and beauty items (spa treatments, salon services, fitness classes)

Yearbook Cover Contest
Mrs. Seashore is taking submissions for the cover of the 2025-26 yearbook. If your student would like to enter this contest, the entry should be connected to our school in some way: our school or church building, our faith life, our mascot, students at an event, music, sports, etc. All entries must be handed in by Friday, April 10. Red Bird Ministries ~ Lenten Grief Support Group
Parents who have lost a child (from pregnancy through adulthood) are invited to a Lenten grief support group facilitated by leaders of the local chapter of Red Bird Ministries. The group begins on Thursday, February 19th, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM and continues through Lent. Whether you are new to the journey of child loss or are desiring a more intimate relationship with the Lord, join us to journey through brokenness to a place of peace, commemorating the 40 days Jesus spent praying and fasting in the desert. Meetings take place at St. Charles Borromeo Church in St. Anthony, and registration ends February 12th. Register HERE and direct questions to Marge and Matt.
The Meal Train Ministry
Would you like to help provide meals for a person or family in their time of need? OR do you or someone you know have a short-term need (due to a birth, surgery, illness, etc.) for meals to be delivered to your home? Contact Joan if you are interested in this ministry.
