Dear St. Charles Parents!

We’re running out of February, so get your Early Bird Borromeo Bash tickets before March 1st! If you’re new to St. Charles, this is a very fun fundraiser and social event for parents. Jump in and buy tickets; you won’t regret it!  2026 Borromeo Bash

Thank you for your increased participation in the pick-up line and for keeping the bus lanes clear. These are both real safety concerns, and we appreciate your help to keep all of our students safe. We still have room for improvement; so please do not drop off or pick up in the bus lane, and please use the pick-up line to pick up. Walking up and waiting to meet your children is fine, too!

We have a lot of responses to the school survey for our Lumen Accreditation this spring. This survey provides important data for our school, and it helps inform decisions. Please fill out the survey! If there is a situation or circumstance that you would like to discuss or address, please contact me or the appropriate staff member. I would hate to have the survey replace dialogue between parents and teachers.

The season of Lent is here, and we had a prayerful Ash Wednesday Mass yesterday. Students in grades 3-8 will have the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation on March 3rd and 4th, as indicated on the calendar.

If you are planning to apply for financial aid for the 2026-27 school year, please make sure you complete the application by February 27th so that your family is eligible for Aim Higher Scholarships. If financial support is important to you, this helps to make sure your family qualifies for all of the available scholarship funds.

February 27th is a work day for faculty at St. Charles; no school for students that day!

We will be working on Lumen Accreditation narratives, report card prep, and end of the trimester work. That is correct, we are at the end of Trimester 2!

God bless you,

Danny Kieffer

St. Charles School Principal
