Dear St. Charles Parents!

What an interesting week it has been! Thank you for your patience with our boiler issues earlier in the week. The whole process went as well as it could have, and we are moving forward!

I’d like to congratulate our 3rd graders for a successful Thanksgiving food drive and sending  1900 items to those in need in our local community.

Tomorrow afternoon, please log into Educate to see your children’s first trimester grades! Please take the opportunity to look over their grades and speak to your children about how they are doing. Praise them for the areas you see progress and maximum effort, challenge them with love in the areas where they can improve. These are critical parenting moments. Don’t miss them because, as I’m learning, they slip away awfully fast.

I’m excited to share more about the All Belong Conference with you. This conference, put on by All Belong, helps Christ-centered schools serve students with special needs. Making Catholic education available to more students is becoming a part of our mission and identity. My staff and I are inspired and excited about this future for our school. You should be too!

One of the most electric nights of the year is coming up next week. I cannot wait to see you all at the Advent Prayer Service next week!

God bless you,

Danny Kieffer

St. Charles School Principal

First Trimester K-8 Report Cards

K-8 report cards will be available to view in Educate tomorrow afternoon.

Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive – Thank YOU!

The Thanksgiving Food Drive was a success – thanks to YOU! Our school sent 1,900 food and personal care items to the Franciscan Brothers of Peace in St. Paul, the Missionaries of Charity in Minneapolis, and Ralph Reeder in Mounds View. May God bless you for performing this beautiful corporal work of mercy, feeding the hungry. A big THANK YOU to all parents and families – and especially to those who took the time to drive the food to our charity sites. THANK YOU ALL!!

Message from Home & School ~ Staff Christmas Appreciation Fund

Dear Chargers,

The holiday season is upon us, and our hearts are full of gratitude! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we certainly have a lot to be thankful for! The exceptional teachers and staff at St. Charles Borromeo School are committed to serving our students and families. If you are wondering how you can show your appreciation this year, please consider a voluntary donation, in any amount, to the Staff Christmas Appreciation Fund. All collected funds will be distributed among the entire school staff (teachers, assistants, office personnel, and administration). What a wonderful gift!
There are two ways you can contribute:

  • Donate through TADS (Email Angela Bollensen with the amount that you would like to give and note that it is for the Staff Christmas Appreciation Fund)
  • Send cash or check (made payable to St. Charles School) in an envelope marked “Staff Christmas Appreciation Fund” to school with your student or deliver it directly to the school office.

Please contribute by Tuesday, December 16th.
Thank you for your generosity!!

Andrea Richardson

Home & School President

The Concession Stand Needs You!

The basketball season concession stand volunteer opportunities are now posted. Please consider signing up to volunteer at the concession stand for one or multiple time slots. Our concession stand is managed and stocked by the  Home and School Council concession team, but we need your help to operate the concession stand during home games! It is a fun way to engage with the St. Charles School community and help support all of the events that Home and School is in charge of throughout the school year.

If you’ve never volunteered at the concession stand or would like a refresher training, please leave a comment when you sign up, and we’ll be sure to have a seasoned team member there to train you and work with you. Thank you!
