Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive – LAST DAY is TOMORROW
The 3rd graders are hosting the 31st Annual St. Charles School Thanksgiving Food Drive through tomorrow, Friday, November 21. The donations go to the Missionaries of Charity in Minneapolis and the Franciscan Brothers of Peace in St. Paul.
-
The Brothers need personal hygiene items and any non-perishable foods. They also requested traditional Thanksgiving dinner food items. Canned foods are of a lesser need, but are still appreciated.
-
The Sisters are requesting the following: boxed food, dried beans, white rice, maseca flour, cooking oil, cereal (any), spaghetti noodles & sauce, and any noodles (including ramen). Also appreciated are diapers in sizes 3, 4, and 5, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex), and personal hygiene products.
-
Special note: Please do not donate anything in glass jars for our students’ safety. Thank you!
God bless your generosity to our neighbors in need!

Concession Stand Volunteer Opportunities Coming Soon
The concession stand volunteer opportunities for basketball season will be posted soon on Sign-up Genius. Please consider signing up to volunteer at the concession stand for one or multiple time slots. Our concession stand is managed and stocked by the concession team with Home and School Council, but we need your help to operate the concession stand during home games! It is a fun way to engage with the St. Charles School community and help support all of the events that Home and School is in charge of throughout the school year.
Please click here to check for available time slots. They should be posted within the next week or so. If you’ve never volunteered at the concession stand or would like a refresher training, please leave a comment when you sign up, and we’ll be sure to have a seasoned team member there to train you and work with you. Thank you!
